CINCINNATI – March 17, 2021 – Great American Insurance Group’s Accident & Health (A&H) Division is now offering expanded services within its user-friendly digital portal, known as pomi℠.
Launched last September, Pomi (an acronym for Peace of Mind Insurance) is the company’s first all-digital portal where brokers can quote and bind most blanket special risk policies in just a few minutes. With a customized platform for brokers selling A&H insurance to industries such as daycares, nonprofits, after school activities and camps, brokers are now able to quote and bind K-12 school coverages as well. Brokers can use the convenient and fast system to bind new charter, public and private school A&H business. The innovative “click and bind” method provides brokers with 24/7 access and allows for fast service and turnaround.
Divisional President Jim Slate says, “We are thrilled with the expansion of our pomi portal and are happy to offer brokers a much quicker and simpler way to bind coverage for their school clients.”
In addition to the portal the website, getpomi.com, provides self-service conveniences including appointment forms and online custom quote submissions for businesses such as colleges, universities, youth sports organizations and health clubs.
Since launching, hundreds of agencies have registered to use the system and the pomi team has provided weekly training sessions to help set-up new brokers and walk them through the process. Slate added, “The response has been outstanding. Brokers love the pomi portal and how easy it is to use. It’s been a great success so far, but we’re always focused on continuous improvement and refinement for the future.”
